“I have been learning to create art since 2017 when I studied GCSE Art & Design before progressing to A-Level. I experiment with mediums such as charcoal, white acrylic paint, gravy browning etc. to create mixed-media pieces with a focus on natural forms. I have always appreciated the power of nature and wanted to create artwork to showcase this. I have a love for mixed-media work as I enjoy the vast variety of opportunities in terms of creating textures, experimenting with mark-making techniques and the use of negative space. After leaving college, I decided to try something new and began to teach myself to paint using acrylics. This allowed me to expand my art practice and begin to sell pet portraits, meaning I was able to use my talents to gain income. Currently, I am continuing to develop my portfolio by constantly practicing new mediums and techniques and seeing what I can come up with.” Eloise Scott
