Pamela Griffiths began painting on and off over the years, but it was during the COVID pandemic that her paintbrushes came out of storage, offering a much-needed creative distraction.

Oil paint is Pamela’s favourite medium, especially on black canvas. She loves how the colours pop, and the vibrant nature of the medium suits her quirky and slightly impatient personality.

The name “Aura Artist” has deep personal meaning. It’s a tribute to Pamela’s mother, who passed away during the pandemic. One of her nieces couldn’t pronounce “Nanny Vera” and affectionately called her “Nanny Aura,” a name that stuck.

Pamela’s art is driven by passion, love, and the memory of her mother. With every brushstroke, she hopes you can feel the emotion and story behind her work.
