Annette Dalzell-Brown has been a photographer for 35 years, capturing events, work-related moments, and holiday adventures. After redundancy from her role as a Public Health Practitioner and two significant bereavements, Annette rediscovered her passion for photography.
One cold November day at Crosby Beach, with her camera in hand, Annette’s perspective shifted. She realized that she was no longer bound by time or office walls. This freedom allowed her to fully embrace her creative side, while photography’s technical challenges satisfied her more scientific nature.
Annette’s style is observational, using telephoto, macro, bokeh, and 360-degree techniques. Her work reflects her love of nature, flowers, and the beauty of everyday life. Photography is a joyful process for her—capturing fleeting moments of life.
The journey into Photographic Art began during lockdown. With time to reflect, Annette joined United Art Space and learned about being an artist. She experimented with ideas and techniques in Serif Affinity Photo Digital Darkroom, transitioning her work into the realm of Photographic Art.
