Alex Bishop is a young artist from Great Boughton, Chester. He has loved drawing and creating since childhood. His visual style reflects his emotional and aesthetic interests.

Alex’s work is inspired by mid-20th century vintage culture, including jazz, fashion, automobiles, Hollywood, and entertainment. He also draws influence from Johannes Vermeer and Van Gogh.

Charcoal is Alex’s primary medium. He combines it with graphite, coloured pencil, ballpoint pen, watercolours, and oil paints to achieve unique effects. After university, Alex began commercialising his work. He is now building a reputation and portfolio, both online and in galleries. Alex’s art is available as limited edition prints, commissioned reproductions, and original pieces.
